In another life Libby studied and worked in the Interior Design field. It wasn’t until 2013 that she found her true calling in selling juice concentrates for Greenwood, where she was hired on despite her loyalty to the Green Bay Packers. Her design career has been relegated to a hobby for home projects that are never ending. In her free time she likes to squeeze in a few exercise classes a week when she isn’t running her two children to baseball or dance classes. Thank goodness her husband is the chef in the family. Crystal PesceCustomer Service Representative - Team Lead
Crystal worked as a project manager for an interior design company before joining the Greenwood family. During her free time, Crystal enjoys spending time with her family, testing out new recipes that she finds on Pinterest, and photographing her two beautiful daughters and three-legged dog, Kylee. Roberto AcevedoCustomer Service Representative
Roberto has taken on many roles during his time at Greenwood, including supply chain related warehousing, logistics, receiving, and inventory management before settling in as a customer service representative. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, trying out new restaurants around the Chicagoland Area, and spending valuable time with his two Italian Greyhounds, Gutty and Suzy, and Brandy, his Yorkie/Chihuahua mix. His favorite thing about Greenwood is the caring, casual work environment.
Nicky RamosCustomer Service Representative
Nicky previously worked as a logistics coordinator and has over two years of experience in hotel management. During her free time Nicky enjoys cooking with her three children, reading thriller novels, and doing various arts and crafts and DIY projects for her home. Her coworkers often refer to her as the “office mom” as she always puts others before herself. Sierra HudsonCustomer Service Representative
Prior to becoming a team member at Greenwood, Sierra worked as a manager with receivables, has a two-year background in logistics billing, and a degree in English Literature. In her free time, Sierra enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons with her friends, painting landscapes/still life/outer space, and spending time with her husband, Matthew, bearded dragon, Tycho, and two hognose snakes, Cersei and Scanlan. Mike OselandDirector of Sales
Before joining Greenwood as the Director of Sales, Mike spent 25 years as an executive in the computer Networking and Security industries, working closely with premier technology companies such as CDW and Dell. When he’s not busy selling juice concentrates and purees, his free time is spent playing hockey, watching his daughter and son play hockey, fishing and golfing. Matt MartensDirector of Business Development
Before joining Greenwood, Matt enjoyed over 25 years in Food and Beverage manufacturing. With an emphasis on Foodservice Beverages, Matt’s focus included Operations, Product Development, Food Safety and Sales. Matt enjoys spending time with his family (including 5 kids) who are actively involved in sports ranging from Ice Hockey to Dance. When he’s not at the rink or ball diamond, Matt and his family enjoy downhill skiing, golf and vacationing at their family cabin in Northern WI. Nicole FarinaDocument Control Specialist
Before Arriving at Greenwood Associates, Nicole attended and graduated from University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, where she studied food and animal science. Nicole enjoys kickboxing and yoga, in addition to walking outside and being with animals and nature. Nicole is also an art enthusiast. André MolinaDirector of Quality & Food Safety
André’s educational background is in microbiology and biochemistry research. After years of experience in juice processing, he now directs our Quality, Food Safety, and Regulatory departments, developing company programs for compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. When André is not working hard on the next big thing or fielding customer questions, he is busy restoring old Italian cars.
Suraya GabelDirector of Procurement & Vendor Relationships
Suraya has been with Greenwood since graduating with a degree in Food Science & Human Nutrition in 2008. Since then she has held roles in technical services, laboratory, quality and food safety, and is currently grounded in procurement. While working in various aspects of the Greenwood operation she completed her Master’s degree in Food Science. Suraya is passionate about spoiling her dogs, cooking and baking, traveling, and lifting all things heavy all while keeping her type 1 diabetes in check. She loves that Greenwood is a true family away from home, even if that means having a couple more weird uncles.
Emma PetersonProduct Application and Marketing Specialist
Before coming to Greenwood, Emma taught in Spain, managed market research projects in Latin America, and attended the French Pastry School. Though busy working on her MBA at Kellogg, Emma enjoys baking, traveling, and playing basketball when she has the chance. Craig ScharoffChief Revenue Officer
Prior to working at Greenwood Associates, Craig spent time at Bell Flavors & Fragrances, American Backhaulers and CH Robinson. When not working, Craig loves spending time with his kids, wife and dog. He has a slight obsession with the Chicago Bears and has been known to eat pizza on occasion. Craig loves the people that he works with and enjoys watching a new, small customer take their company to the next level.
Before returning to Greenwood on a permanent basis in 1993, Ron logged several years in the Film & Television industry. In addition to spending time with his wife and son, he loves all things culinary and spends much of his time cooking, and exploring the cuisines of the world. His favorite thing about Greenwood is that it provides him with a platform from which he can solve problems, with an emphasis on treating others in the manner in which he’d want to be treated.
There is not an aspect of Greenwood that Jim is not regularly involved in. Jim loves travel, ethnic cuisine (especially spicy food!), history, peoples and cultures and political philosophy. He loves working for Greenwood because he loves the wholesome and delicious products we sell. We have an interesting mix of unique and excellent people who we care about doing the right thing for our customers and for each other. I love the bewildered look I get when people ask me what I do for a living and I say “I sell juice”.
Michael HanscheGeneral Manager
After initially starting his career in procurement, Michael has held senior positions in operations, logistics and manufacturing consulting. He began his career with Greenwood in 2014 as an internal auditor, moving to the Director of Operations position and finally to his current role as General Manager. Michael is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time at his weekend getaway in Wisconsin cross country skiing and snowshoeing.
