This website is operated and owned by Greenwood Associates Inc. on behalf of itself and certain affiliates (collectively, “Greenwood”, “we”, or “our”). Greenwood respects the data privacy of our customers and other visitors to our website, and the purpose of this Policy is to inform you about our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data and other information when you use the site and the choices you have associated with that data.

This Policy applies only to the website and online services provided by Greenwood. This Policy does not cover any interaction you may have with Greenwood by telephone, postal mail, or other offline communications.

COLLECTION AND STORAGE

We do not collect personal information from visitors unless the information is provided voluntarily and knowingly. When you complete a contact or inquiry form on our website, you may be asked for some personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, email address and phone number. From time to time, we may also collect additional information as needed for us to communicate with you, process your orders, and to provide services to you. We do not use your email address for purposes other than responding to the message you sent, to contact you regarding your transaction and product, or to send additional communication about our products and services. Collected data is securely stored with encryption, provided that no method of transmission or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and although we use commercially acceptable means to protect such data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

No mobile information will be sold, rented, traded or shared to third parties or affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes with the exception of our sister companies Chicago Processed Fruit Group and Florida Bulk Sales. We may also share your information with website developers or companies that fulfill and ship orders or other third parties that assist with processing your orders or proving services to you.

Greenwood may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process; (b) protect and defend its rights or property; and (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect personal safety.

Your information, including personal data, may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.  If you are located outside United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer data, including personal data, to the United States for processing.  Your deemed consent to this Privacy Policy represented by your submission of such information constitutes your agreement to that transfer. Greenwood will take reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your personal data takes place unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

Our website may link to third-party websites. When you follow a link to another website, you leave our site and your online interactions are no longer protected by this Privacy Policy. Greenwood is not responsible for, and does not endorse the content or the privacy or security practices of websites to which our site links. You should review the privacy policies of any such third-party websites for their policies and practices regarding the collection and use of your information because their policies may differ from ours. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for the privacy practices of third parties.

YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS UNDER THE GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (“EEA”), Greenwood’s legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described in this Privacy Policy depends on the data we collect and the specific context in which we collect it. Greenwood may process your personal data because we need to perform a contract with you or your employer; you have given us or a third party permission for us to do so; the processing is in our legitimate interests and it is not overridden by your rights; or to comply with the law. Greenwood will take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete or limit the use of your personal data. In certain circumstances, residents of the EFA verified as such have the following data protection rights under the GDPR: to request access, update, or deletion of personal data; to have such information corrected if inaccurate or incomplete; to object to or request that we restrict our processing of such information; to be provided with a copy of such information in a structured, machine-readable, and commonly used format; to withdraw your consent if relied upon to process such information; and to complain to a Data Protection Authority about our collection and use of your personal data.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our website is designed for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children without their parent’s supervision and permission and request that anyone under the age of thirteen not submit personal information. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of thirteen or knowingly distribute such information to third parties.

CALIFORNIA ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT (CALOPPA)

In accordance with CalOPPA, our Privacy Policy includes the following:

  • Users can visit our website anonymously;
  • Our home page includes a link to our Privacy Policy. Links on our site to our Privacy Policy include the word “Privacy” and can easily be found within the page on which the link is provided;
  • Individuals visiting the Privacy Policy web page are notified of changes to our policies on the web page; and
  • Individuals can change their personally identifiable information using our “Contact Us” form or by calling us (see “How to Contact Us” section below).

This Privacy Policy may change at any time. If this Privacy Policy changes, the revised policy will be posted on this web page.
